Now, we know who the earring the ladies found belongs to Mrs. Hazel. It should be interesting. I know Hattie May is not going to leave this alone at all. Harold Chapman only made her more suspicious, and rightly so. Love the story. I'm sure Greg could it in no time at all. LOL

Now, we know who the earring the ladies found belongs to Mrs. Hazel. It should be interesting. I know Hattie May is not going to leave this alone at all. Harold Chapman only made her more suspicious, and rightly so. Love the story. I'm sure Greg could it in no time at all. LOL

I love the playful description of his fake smile and the cat imagery and the way you enable this conversation to entertain and amuse the reader whilst always conscious of the need to advance the plot. Well, it seems that chat netted her some information. Now she knows who the earring belongs to. I'm sure she isn't willing to let her investigation drop. If I was in a facility I was having to pay foe, I would resent being questioned.

Why is it that fools who find themselves in charge of something and older people are involved they instantly think we have lost our ability to think properly? This creep thinks he can pull the wool over Hattie's eyes... what an error on his part. I loved the exchange between them and Hattie's silent thoughts.... oh yes, and the clue. Well done!
