I like to add potatoes and carrots too. The thicker the better, love to drip in a chunk of crusty bread and munch away.

This is a delicious pumpkin poem! I would love to try this sometime. I don't currently have a stove, just a microwave.
I love pumpkin rolls too; I get them every Halloween and Thanksgiving. Did you ever make them?

Nicely captures the spirit of pumpkins and pumpkin soup. The only thing I would look at changing is revising the title (because there's no cream in the poem) or making the first line 'creamy pumpkin soup'.

That said, I believe the title is just as much a part of the poem as the body. (wink)

I love to add potatoes and carrots sometimes.

I'm also looking forward to eating lots of minestrone.
