Mike, first of all, congratulations on joining the ranks of the novelists, if even just for one chapter.
I'm really so glad you chose to share your story. I knew part of it, but not all. I get it that you left out a lot of detail, but we get the gist. It was an accident you didn't cause, but you paid the price for it.
Between you and me, I'm glad you did survive!! We need you out there being our political conscience!!! You do a lot of research many others don't take the time to do, and you try to keep all of our heads out of our collective, well, you get it.
I'm glad you're a part of our world!!

Don't give up on your goal. This is definitely an adventure you have been through with many ups and downs. Thank you for sharing. Only suggestion if able to add more I'd say add more to this in more about the journey from there to here. You have definitely overcame a lot and it would be nice to root even more for you.
