Hi,
This poem, with its few words shows how much damage nature can do with her storms. Whether with wind or water.
Good luck in the contest.
Keep writing and stay healthy
Have a great weekend.
Joan

Good personification of that "great wind" as being CARELESS just like many abusive people are. My heart goes out to all those folks in Florida and the Carolinas who have lost everything. Rod

Rod, thank you for such a generous rating. That December was a frightening ordeal, and I'm just lucky my family was safe.

We live just south of you in West Tennessee, and the big storms have been too frequent. What a wonderfully written poem! I like it on the picture. Good luck in the contest! Have a great day, and God bless.

I grew up around the Nashville area, and the storms can be quite frightful at times. Thank you for the generous rating!

Prayers for everyone - those in the devastation of Ole Mayfield and those who were blessed to have missed the heart of the storm in Paducah. the angry force of Mother Nature.
Smiles, Carol
