It is good to stand up on our own two feet and not be afraid of being alone. I have known some strong and determined people in my life who have been courageous in the face of adversity, I try to be like them as we can only really rely on ourselves. I enjoyed your uplifting words, love Dolly x

I honestly am not sure, as the reader the meaning of what you are trying to convey. This is not a bad thing as it challenges the reader to think upon the words written, dissecting the writers meaning behind them. There are many roads to take without a map to follow and often we walk the path to our destination alone. All the while hoping the path and roads taken leads us to others that have gone the same way. Never having to be alone again.

What a beautiful poem. The picture sets the tone for the poem. It flows nicely to completion. Do you have a background in English or is this something that comes naturally. Personally, I struggle and I have to wait until something hits me. I have several poems written, but some of them suck.
