This is a delightful story. How original! Well done. I never would have thought of such a thing. My wife's birthday is close to Christmas, so it's extra difficult coming up a gift for her birthday as well as Christmas. I don't think a cactus would work here at home though, we might back in to it. Good luck in the contest.

Just like a guy. My first husband got me a necklace with a silver dollar on it for Christmas. I rarely wear any jewelry. A timex watch. Small hoops for my pierced ears, and my wedding ring is all I wore. He bought it from the bank. He went to make a deposit, and thought to himself, Hey that's a big necklace, she will love that, and it so handy .
I never wore it. But I did think about regifting it to him.
