I think you are right Kristina. I think love has hurt everyone at one time or anther. If not just by the passing of someone you loved. Very well written. And the perfect picture. Linda xxoo

Is it love that's cruel, or is it our human imperfections which cause the cruelty? Nice poem, which raises interesting points. Well done.

Your sentiments reflect the truth about love, but I think if you check your syllable count it is slightly off. I gave you a five star for content.

This was very good. I enjoyed the twist at the end about how love is cruel to some people. This is so true as I know. Thank you for sharing.

This is a really nice piece of work! It has the correct word count and nice use of punctuation. 'A wondrous thing on earth' is absolutely great way of wording the divine aspect of love. And the ending hits home for many. Great piece of creative thought went into this, and I wish you much luck in the contest! Holly

The second line has only 6 syllables--wondrous is two--I looked it up to be sure. I don't think I would start 2 lines with so. I do wish you luck in the contest~Debbie

If love is a potent force, we can easily be burned by it. And how do we define human love. I say, let us take the supreme being for granted. It is hard enough relating to human love. You call it divine and sweet, I call it fragile and transitory like life itself. Be well. -Ekim777
