Whether we perceive Him or not,
But His sense in life works a lot ... I like these lines. That's what faith is all about, isn't it? :)
'Trust in God' awakens our soul, ... this line reminds me of the scripture in the book of Proverbs: Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding ...
Which is pretty much the essence of your poem!
Good aabb quatrains in the stanzas. An uplifting, encouraging piece.
Best wishes for the contest, RP!
Have a wonderful Easter weekend.

Hello RP,
I enjoyed your poem, especially the line,"Whether we perceive Him or not."
So often our lives are touched by God's devine hand and we don't see or appreciate His direction.
Many times only upon reflection of things past can we understand how He touches us.

This modern sonnet form, Trust, is put together well and certainty entreaty the readers to go hard and long to display the power we receive from our faith. The bigger goal takes us further towards success.

This is a good faith poem. Humanity has to believe in something to give us faith which in turn gives us hope. I enjoyed this poem. Good luck in the contest and thank you for sharing.

Excellent writing here, RP. I liked this stanza in particular:
"Trust in God' awakens our soul,
And helps us focus on the goal;
Enhancing our self-confidence,
It leads us to sure excellence"
A suggestion if I may: Wouldn't this be better considering soul should be plural when connected "our" so how about "Trust in God awakens THE soul"
Still great as is, RP. Blessings. Bob

An excellent contest entry. I'm sure you will do well.
My favorite line:
Whether we perceive Him or not,
Someone once said, "It doesn't matter weather or not you believe in God. The fact remains, God believes in you."

If you keep your faith and if you're grateful, you'll see God open up doors. I believe I'm blessed and I thank God for every day for everything that happens for me. Thanks for sharing this wonderful poem.
