This is a fine entry for the contest. The image is lovely, as is your poem. You've used good form here. Rhyming is very good, too. I like how all the second and fourth lines have the same end rhyme sound and the repetition of "cause to celebrate." Marilyn

Rod,
I have to imagine this poem did great in the contest -- or is the voting still coming up? This is super! The rhyming and cadence are super and reading it aloud was soooo pleasant. I enjoyed it heaps! Thanks!

,very nice, good imagery and nice flow, and it does harken in the season. Nice photo to go with it. One more time around the sun aye? Places without seasons just don't feel right,
Good luck

Nice flow and rhythm. Great imagery, painting a clear picture for the reader. Inspires hope having seen plenty of long winters. The picture fits very well with the poem.

I will still take the seasons changing over just hot year round. I also liked the different style, I haven't tried that rhyme pattern/scheme yet.

Spring is one of my favorite seasons (fall being the other). I thought this poem was well written and flowed nicely. It had great imagery making the poem speak loudly. thank you for sharing and best wishes in the contest, N.B.

That's a challenging contest because we feel compelled to use those word when writing bout spring. The innovation comes in avoiding using those words. The poet must paint the scenery with very descriptive imagery, which you have achieved in this poem.
I saw the dingy remnants of winter and the vibrant color of spring in this well-written poem.
Good luck in the contest. Have a wonderful week. :)

This speaks the advent and coming of spring is ever enjoying, vigorous, colourful and beautiful, Nature is decorated so colourfully to celebrate unlike winter; I liked.

A very well-written poem about Spring. Without using the common words that describe Spring, I think you done a great job to bring spring to the reader on A different tray.
