This is a heart-wrenching poem and it prompts the reader to contemplate the disparity in circumstances in the world. It also prompts gratitude for the good things in our life that perhaps we take for granted. Much luck in the contest with this provocative write. Marilyn

A very well-written Sedoka. If there is someone we know about who nay not have a meal for the day let us take to them a proper meal.

This is a fine contrast of thoughts expressed, two dimensions well packed, starving children weep because festive fare is not for them and bellies remain empty; festive comes and goes; I like. DR ALCREATOR (6-STAR)

This is a fine entry for the 'Sedoka Poem' writing prompt.
The artwork is excellent but the poem has a sad half.
Well done and good luck to you with the competition.

Sadly yes this Sedoka leaves us in no doubt as to the down side of the Christmas festivities ....the reality of hunger on our planet....and a striking visual

Hungry people suck. Even the poorest people in the western world tend to live better than a lot of people elsewhere. Thank you for reminding me. Will there ever be enough charity to go around?
Good Sedoka, I like the differing font sizes. That helped the message.
