Thank you for sharing this poem. This is an interesting topic for a poetry contest. I like the related illustration and always appreciate informative author's notes. It would be a neat contest to have all participants highlighting a historical/cultural figure. Good luck with your contest entry!

Hi Mystery Author,

This is very well done and well researched. I loved your author's notes, as I enjoy learning about a wide variety of topics, but I'm not certain it conforms to the 5-7-5 contest guideline. (But that's for a committee or someone above my proverbial pay grade.)

I enjoyed the read and it's well written. Nothing I can see to suggest improving upon.
