This is an odd subject for a 2-4-2 poem, how did you arrive at the decision to write about the word amount? It just seemed odd to me. It did form a coherent thought which a lot of these short poems don't.

Thank you for the review and compliments, originally had written this for a six word contest entry and forgot the 2-4-2 was due so I shortened it about 10 minutes before the due time. LOL

That is so correct! The amount is how many you have of anything. Some things are better to have a large amount of and other things, not so much! I liked the poem. It is exactly right!
