From the moment they are born they give such joy and bring nostslgia with them. The familiar little faces that mirror their mother or their father and the same questions that our children asked, our grandchildren repeat.
It's like going back and reliving some of our wonderful moments. This is a very sweet poem that says what is in our hearts.

I've heard it said that grandchildren are the reward for not having killed our own children when they were teenagers! I'm so glad to read that you're loving this next generation of progeny. Wonderful poem. Good luck in the contest. xo

What a lovely tribute to the joys of being a mother and a grandmother. After sowing those precious seeds of love through the years, nurturing them and watching them grow - now you can enjoy the fruits of your love and labor. Grandchildren are what makes growing older enoyable. Thanks for sharing these sentiments.

I like this. This is absolutely beautiful and oozes and is infused with feelings and emotions. I like the transition that you share from childhood to adult and how they now have their own that Nana is so proud of. I like this and enjoyed reading this well written work. Well done!

Oh, I do so regret not having a six to give. I also am a Grammy and this one is one I can personally relate to and it touched my heart. You nailed it with the feelings we have for our grands and there is nothing you should change or do to this little gem as it is perfection to the hilt. Great job!

I am hopefully a bit away from that, my girls being only 17 and 15. They have plenty of time and thousands of experiences to gather before they need think about children, ha ha .
A beautiful little poem which expresses the joy you received from raising your own children and now the joy you get from your grandchildren. Nice!

Boy ain't that the truth. We gain the wonderful aura of those little g.kids - and our sons and their wives have to raise them. But oh do we pray a lot - for all of them.

A very well-written poem about children and grano children that bring so much joy into our lives in our older years we cannot imagine how we will live without them in our lives.
