I like this poem, but the second line has 8 syllables instead of 7, (I think). I also liked how this poem is named alliteration, and you have alliterations in there. Good luck in the contest.

Thank you for the great review, Tanvi. I'm fairly sure admired is just two syllables. At least the FS committee agrees that it was because if it were three, they would have sent me a message telling me it was incorrect. Thanks for the generous stars. Have a great day.

A beautiful presentation with the combination of atmospheric photo and illuminated capital. You offer us a conundrum on the appeal of alliteration by likening it to art. Some art has zilch appeal - it's effing awful - therefore alliteration can be said to be unappealing. Beauty is always in the eye (and ear) of the beholder. The alliteration in your poem is appealing (not appalling), therefore I consider it artistic. I give you an A... a pretty one like yours.

Thank you for the great review and A, Lisa. I sure am glad it didn't come out appalling, lol. Yes, some sure do though. I hear that. I really appreciate the gracious stars, L. I'm glad you liked the piece. Have a wonderful day.

Wow! Way to nail alliteration! You have mastered 17 syllables and spun them into this amazing 5-7-5. Usually these entries are, at best, just plain goofy. This poem actually shows you put some thought and talent into it. "appealing as art"... indeed. This you have accomplished. Very well done, poet. I'd wish you good luck in the contest (as we all do) but I'm fairly certain I've just reviewed the winner. Awesome! Lynda

Wow, thank you so much for the fantastic review and the giant sixer, Lynda. Yeah, I tries a few different ways to try to make this finally work right. I dearly appreciate the rating and good luck wishes. I'll keep my fingers crossed. Have a great week.

It is truly amazing how you made this entire poem in alliteration, not only that it reads so very smooth. Most like this would seem forced. Very inventive and a good read.

It must take some thinking to write such a poem. I really liked your topic and the asset is oh so true. Your piece has made me think of how few words can tell so much. I like the image you have chosen.

Wow, thank you so much for the fantastic review and the big sixer, Jo. Yeah, I put a little thought into this one. The picture is actually a couple different pics from Google Images that I worked with in my art program to come out like this. I really appreciate the generous stars and kind words. I'm glad you liked the piece. Thank you again.
