A beautiful contest offering of rhyming and 'near rhyming' couplets for this unusual contest! ;) Thanx for sharing and best of luck at the polls! ;)
Be sure to pop back in there and remove your name from the title tag line as this is supposed to be a 'blind' contest... ;) :)

Also Kahlil Gibran is the author that inspired it and NOT my name so there is nothing to remove.

Your rhymed quatrains are beautifully composed, mystery poet. I think you captured the essence of the Gibran poem - that sorrow has its role to play in our lives. Tears can be sanctified by God's grace.
I wish you well in the voting booth

This is a beautiful tribute to both our LORD and to the fabulous poet Khalil Gibran. Your words are thoughtfully crafted to bring to mind the selflessness of our Lord, the beauty and unending joy that are promised. Thanks for this beautiful poem for reminding us WHAT is more important than "here and now".

This is truly a beautiful and highly inspirational poem you have penned, and I am wishing you all the very best of luck in the booth with the voters.
This line, especially, resonates with me (but so hard to single out just one) -- "For every tear my eyes have shed..." What a wonderful perspective!

The life of a flower is longing and fulfillment.
A tear and a smile.
This was my favorite line. This was very sensual and unique.
Your paragraphs moved smoothly throughout and it was very easy
to read. I felt like your use of satire gave a blissful sense of endearment.
Very good job on this one!

This runs great parallel to the great Kahlil Gibran. Very deep and passionate word choices you have chosen I like these lines especially
Yes, like the ocean's ceaseless tide,
my heart beats steady at Your side.
I will not trade one single sorrow,
for each is gold when dawn's the morrow.
Great imagery!
Thanks for sharing

Your poem is very well written. The poet that you chose has a very impressive way of writing, also. Love the descriptive words that you wrote in your poem. Very meaningful.

You have done an astounding job with this and the art choice you made. I regret not having a six left. I see how you could be inspired by your choice, but your poem stands alone as superbly strong and motivational to those who have had pain or who suffer from it now in whatever form or whatever level. Remarkable piece of creative writing. Great job!
