Ciao mystery poet. I gave you your 5th and well deserved vote.
I loved this childhood memory.
I was not only sent to boarding school at a tender age , in six years I changed three times ...every two years so it was hard to make lasting friendships. You
Mobiles and internet would have been assets but they had not been invented yet.
These kids afternoon get togethers must have been fun, playing tug and making friendship that would last a life time. You did a good job rhyming too.
I wish you all the best!

This is a fine nonet, well penned and I loved the sentiments of kids playing games in the street, something they rarely seem to do nowadays! Kids have their heads stuck in their phones and computers instead, much enjoyed, love Dolly x

This lovely picture and short nonet poem reminds me of my own childhood. The street was our playground and we made friendships that lasted a life time. Good luck in the contest.
