A lovely poem about a child from some one who is a child at heart,and knows their interests from her own life expressing it very well in rhyme, rhthm and imagery. It is a great comfort to be a contest winner have putting a lot of effort into the poem,

Loved it! What a great poem and liked the picture too! You do a marvelous job describing the life of a well-loved teddy bear. My son's favorite stuffed toy was a monkey - he took that thing every where! Great read!

Absolutely charming, Steve! The meter rollicks along, a perfect rhythm for this hero of the high seas. This reminded me both of my Ted - though we didn't play such games as these! - and all the most endearing bits from the Toy Story series, if you'll forgive a comparison you've probably heard ad nauseam!

Thank you for the review and the kind words - the dialogue just crept in naturally - I wrote this in a hurry - about one hour, with the deadline looming, so the win was a very pleasing result!
