this is a sad poem that many of us can understand. But in a way you seem to have expressed an acceptance of things. anyway, this poem is full of emotion and feeling.

This is lovely, if not tragic; sometimes it's not easy to let go, yet always, a clean break is easier on the heart. We hang on, hoping things will change, but they rarely do.
