You tell an ancient history in just a few words. You make me think of the stories passed down by the Native Americans over the campfires. Stories that could only survive in the memory of those who heard them. On a broader level I hear you speaking of the wisdom that we earn in our lifetime and hope to pass on to those we love - so that they can avoid the pain and find more happiness. Very powerful and thought provoking.
