Great alliteration. Love love love the last line. Such POWER behind three lines. I'm always amazed if someone can pull this off. Its no easy feat! Very well done my friend. It flows tremendously as well ;) great piece.

Oh YES, indeed, the vampire...all has its value, fascination, essence, etc....the 'power' of myth, metaphors & symbols that serve us as mirrors to look/see/notice & 'imagine' beyond our 'limited' physical senses...

Very well done this poem. I love dark poems and this one is so dark!!! Your syllable count is good and the letters in red just enhance the darkness and raw feeling, loved it :) What a great picture! Excellent alliteration!

This is a tricky one for me to review because I am going to have to be very objective as it is a subject which I don't like. So, looking at the work from a purely literary point to view I have to say that I can see it is well thought out and conforms to the rules of the contest. However, the illustration plays a very large part in the work and does a lot of the work which one would have preferred the words to do. Regarding the use of language in the poem my main criticism is that it would be better if it rhymed and did not just rely on alliteration to get its point across. But overall a good entry for the contest despite my personal reservations. Anton.
