I do have to say the third word of the first line made me think of vampires. Life-Liquid say vampire as well. I like the picture which accompany the poem. The poem was short and to the point.

I am not a fan of vampire stories at all, but I reviewed this because you'd pumped it up so high. Why? Did you think it was worth 1.29 in ranking points to be seen? I'm not saying it's bad. It's good, for what it is, which is another of those tiny senryus that are so common here. Ever try writing something longer, saying more? Just a thought, not a criticism. Just curious about the reason you'd spend so many pumps (hopefully not real money) to put it first.

It is about personal choice.fortunately,most of the readers have praised and liked it.and i have written many longer forms,but i haven't upgraded yet,so only 5.7.5 i can post.
And about pumping thing,it is about how you think of your own work,rest reviewers decide.

An excellent 5-7-5 poem with perfect syllable count. I never saw a 5-7-5 dark poem in this form before. Wonderful alliteration and great use of words. I think it will do well in the contest. Best wishes

Vampires - the love of writers and movie makers. There is much money to be made in them.
On a standalone basis, they can mesmerized us with their usually red eyes.
The bite of eternal life - a blessing in disguise or a curse, we will never know. To have eternal life lurking in the dark and waiting for the full moon to energize the eternal being of night creatures. Afraid of the sun and sleeping in coffins - what a life!
Good muse about the vampires and an entertaining read too!
