Oh, things are getting exciting! What will Colin do when he finds himself cornered? He seems the cowardly sort, but you never know. Jeff might need that gun. I can't wait for the next chapter.

Thank you so much, my wonderful friend, you make my days so joyful. The golden sixth star shines above your words, just like the real one shines upon you. Thank you, my wonderful friend. Sending you bucket's full of love, and humongous hugs. :) Sandra xxxxxx

And don't go on those slippery roads! I'll reply to your email soon. Those pictures were amazing. Ian has to go for more scans and an eye operation. He's not looking foreward to them, but if the eye op helps him to see, he'll do it. xxxxx

Dear Sandra, Is UK English so different from what we speak here in America except for special words (like a Loo for the bathroom) I find it amazing that I can pick up this story, right in the middle and follow along, and get hooked on both the characters and the action.
No wonder you are regarded as a terrific novelist.

Hi Suzanna, thank you so much for your lovely review. And welcome to my book! :))
UK and US English has many spelling differences, and we have expressions you've never used. We also have a few differences in the meaning of some words. One funny difference is your use of the word 'thongs' which we call flipflops. A thong in UK English are the briefest of brief panties for women. So you can imaging how funny it sounds to us when we hear you are running around in thongs. Lol. The other one that I discovered a couple of weeks ago, was our use of the word fringe, which is the hair that hangs over the forehead, and you call bangs. There are many more, so you can understand why I put what language I'm using in my author's notes. Oh, and you us a 'period' for our 'full-stop'. I might put a little book together, which could be quite hillarious.
Thank you again for coming over and reading this part. I really appreciated it. Warm hugs, Sandra xx

Gripping! Please get the next out ASAP and put Tania out of her misery.

There was nothing else to see [COMMA] as everything was in complete darkness. (comma in this usage of AS "because" to distinguish it from "during"--no comma)

Sorry to hear about the shingles--I've heard they are EXCRUCIATING. Got the vaccine.

Thank you for that bit of help, Liz. And thank you for another lovely review! I'm so pleased you are still enjoying this story. Warm hugs. Sandra xx

Yes, shingles really are excruciating, so I advise you not to get them. I'm getting the vaccine once this lot have gone. I've had them twice, and do NOT want them again!! :)) xxx

So glad the shingles are easing up!
This chapter is not too long at all. It was a pleasure to read and even got my heart racing a little with all the tension. Well done.
Can't wait to read what happens next.

You are building up to a climax with great skill here. Not too fast, but the pace is beginning to accelerate. I wonder about the significance of that soundproofed room!

Thank you so much for that lovely sixth star, Tony, and that nice compliment. :))
I gave him a soundproofed room for when he does his gun shooting practice. I thought it might be heard outside otherwise. Being a billionaire, he has the money and the space to have one put in the basement of his London home. Thank you for mentioning it, though, I'll take another look at the whole sentence to see if I can improve on it.
Thank you, again. Warm hugs, my friend. :)) Sandra xx

Not suggesting there was anything wrong with the sentence. Just musing on possible future uses for the room!

Oh no, I didn't know you had shingles!! So sorry, I know that is so painful. I live in fear of getting them. I'm glad you are feeling much better. Another great chapter and not too long, I would have kept going, dying to know if they rescue Tania.

Thank you, Rox. I don't think I've ever had a more painful time, going through my labour pains were at least over with in a few hours AND I had a nice reward afterwards! :))
Thank you for another lovely review, my friend. Warm hugs. Sandra xxx

good chapter....lots of suspense. So glad that I started following your story. I never knew that someone would steal blueprints from someone else, but your story definitely brings an alert to surface.

Thank you, Rosemary! I'm glad you are following it, too, lol. I had the idea for this story after reading about someone doing just that. Stealing someone's blueprints. It happens to so many things. Thanks for your continued support my friend. :)) Sandra xxx
