Hello Lance, you have written two good lines - true to form with both internal and end rhyme. This is well worded with the appropriate picture - hay-fever LOL! Well done - good luck in the contest. Warm regards Dorothy x

'Boom Boom Times', is short succinct and very much to the point. With a minimum of words this talented poet has told it as it is. Good luck with the contest! My fingers are crossed for you.

Both my daughters suffer with hay fever and the sneezing starts like a chorus between them, but I adore spring and all the warmth it brings, a delightful read, love Dolly x

I guess if the dandelions fluf doesn't get you then the allergys will. I enjoyed the quick poem and the image is well chosen to complement your work.

A poem for hay fever sufferers. These days there seem to be a lot more allergy sufferers than there used to be and a lot less wildflowers. We must be close to reaching a balance point. Good luck with your two lines worth.

This is relevant for the season and it made me smile. It's not funny to have allergies but sometimes a sneeze can bring a snicker. The image is perfect to exemplify your words. Well done!

"Seeing wild flowers bloom.
Hearing mild sneezes boom."
Good choice for the Spring contest. Allergies are the one thing that most people don't appreciate about spring, but we put up with them because of all the good things spring brings.

Thank you for your review. I just edited Seeing to Smelling. That works better!! Thanks again.

Your words plus image pair nicely for your contest entry. I enjoyed reading your poem. Luckily, I'm not allergic to the few flowers that grow wild here or those planted. Good job with the rules of the contest.

May I suggest:

Seeing wild flowers bloom. [smelling wild flower's bloom. ]
Hearing mild sneezes boom. [compelling sneezes boom ]
[I know this is your work so file 13 my suggestion. Words that end 'ing' are difficult to rhyme although they may be near rhymes.

Thanks for sharing and best wishes.
Respectfully, Jan

Actually, my essence rhyme was wild and mild not the ing words but I do like your suggestion of smelling over seeing so thanks. I'm keeping hearing over compelling. I appreciate your ideas. Thank you for your review.
