I believe that music can transform you, soothe your soul and make everything ok...at least for that moment in time. I have many long playing LPS and I think they sound amazing....so does your poem. Best of luck in the contest. :)

I like the picture. It does remind people of records of the old day. Most people like to listen to music like you say: "Racked up an older Long Play record to listen, to reminisce and to muse..." it is certainly relaxing after a full's days work.
I like what you say: "Bristling delivered in words by a song's musical lyrics still heard today!" Good records can be heard without getting tired of it.

You've been dipping into your past with those old records, having an uplifting nostalgic moment with familiar, well-loved lyrics and musical sounds that transport. i do the same sometimes - I have boxfulls of old LPs and a record player. Great stuff.
