Well done. This is a wrap! So Nancy hit the bucket. It's a good thing it wasn't Amanda the main witness. You finished the story with style. You tied all the loose ends together. Maybe your son will produce it as a movie.

I just loved this ending! It seems that the powers that be decided to get rid of O'Shea after he'd tipped them off. Serves him right. I was worried it was Amanda that went over the edge, but it was Nancy. I think those same powers planned and executed that thinking it was Amanda in the SUV. That must have been hard for Nate but it was good that he was there to see for himself what a slimeball his son is. Now Beth can have a new life with Bert. What a fabulous story, Carol!! Well done, this has to win the All Time Best chapter of the month! Will you write another one with our great FBI characters? Well done again, my friend. :)) Sandra xxx

Good morning, Sandra... I posted late last night, hoping you would be able to read this before I got up this morning. My wish came true! i wanted it edgy enough to make the reader wonder who went over the cliff....but only for a moment.

This is the second book I've written with Hank and Garth. I really enjoy them and I do think I will find another story somewhere for them.

Thank you for always supporting me and following the story. I truly appreciate all the kindness you have shown me. It's a bit daunting to realize I have nothing more to tantalize everyone with...It's actually the end of the story. I am thrilled for the gold stars for the final chapter. I feel it validates all the hard work.

Miles of smiles and hugs to you my dear friend, Carol

An all encompassing six stars.

This has been a Tour of Force!

I got hooked with Beth's plight and with every plot layer you enticed and intrigued me!

I am astounded that I feel so bad about Nancy's death...

That short interplay between her and Beth made me soften a bit...she expressed regret...that was a poignant moment.

Congratulations Carol!

I am positive Mike and your Mom are looking down at you and beaming with pride!

Who knew your short story would develop a life of its own!?

You are a fine friend.

You are a fine author!

    Karenina,

I hoped when I posted this late last night, that I would rise to find you'd left me your thoughts.

I have been blessed by God, my family and by my sweet, wonderful friends and all their support throughout the entire book. I can not thank you enough for always being there and cheering me on...even when you might not have agreed ... but often I discovered a new twist in the story because of things you said or suggested. The book doesn't just belong to me... It's a part of all of us... especially you... that took the journey with me.

I send you a huge thank you and miles of smiles and hugs.
    Love ya, Carol

Alas, Patty this is the end of the story... It seems wierd. I wanted to get up and write some more, but it's over. Maybe a new story will rise! Thanks for all your support and continued interest in my writing.

I am feeling soooooo blessed at this moment, Roy. God has given me the ability to complete my dream and a promise I made to my Mom and Mike. He's also given me the support of so many good friends which I am so grateful for. I got up this morning worrying if the final chapter had fallen on it's face and found a sea of shiny stars...

It's Sunday and I praise the Lord for his generosity and blessings.
I can feel my "angels" beside me, sharing this moment. Not everyone will understand how special this is, but I know that you do.

A sequel? Hmmm... I would be so blessed again to find another journey to share with my friends.

Smiles and hugs and THE BIGGEST THANK YOU EVER....

Wow, you ended with a bang like in the movies. I guess there was no redemption for Nancy or O'Shea. Who killed O'Shea? He must have poisoned the brownies.
I like the last goodbyes that you did between Nancy and Beth, and between Peter and his father.
Great storytelling throughout!

Thank you, Helen. Even though they were bad people, somewhere beneath I always hope there is a glimmer of good. I can't seem to write without showing that light. Thanks for all your support and for continuing to follow. I appreciate it beyond words and the shiny stars for the final chapter elates me. Smiles, Carol
