This is too well written, gives me too much of a picture of what my friends did and survived in the sixties. Many survived for years but the PTSD got them in the end. You did an excellent job of telling about Mike Boat Mike and his adventures, almost as if you had been there. If you weren't, you have a great deal of talent. Best of luck with this in the contest.

Surfs Up part two - 'The Knot' is the follow up to 'Surfs Up' where the Mike Boat Mike was wounded. Some readers wanted to know what happened to him. Was he able to surf again? This story, 'The Knot' provides the answer. I hope you enjoy it and I look forward to your constructive criticism.
