This is intriguing. Ok, I know it's fiction, but I'm curious, was Dell reborn on earth, or in the hereafter? Maybe that ambiguity is what makes this work as a short story. Either way, an interesting read. Thank you for sharing.

A simple way of looking at the life & death cycle. We don't have much information that explains the direct journey of a soul released from its' body. This sounds reasonable.

Fascinating Spirit Fiction. An Angel brings Dell to heaven and grants him rebirth. Maybe he comes back as AI? Then he will be far more intelligent than his biological peers. Maybe he will rise to the level of a god king and hold the wheel of empire. Until W-1010 comes along and makes him obsolete. At least he's Dell. He's already superior. Cool write.

I can only guess you chose to specify death from Covid to make this topical and current. The cause of Dells' death is superfluous to the spiritual essence of the story. Congrats in creating a cohesive theme in three sentences, 21 words.
