Well you followed all the requirements of the contest. I wasn't quite sure what Lucifer was doing and how that connected to Moses parting the Red Sea. But you do have the 21 words and three sentences - a very challenging restriction! Best wishes in the contest!

I am getting slower by the second and every time I think I have a handle on being polite and telling everyone how much their efforts and words mean to me (truly mean to me) I discover I have just fallen further behind. I appreciate that people actually enjoy what spills from my aging brain and couldn't find more happiness than sharing my writing. I thank you for your time and thoughts.
Sending a basket of smiles and hugs and apologies... especially to those I've left waiting for days.
HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND!
May cupid sprinkle you with much joy!
Always, Carol

Oh my! I am much too verbose to ever make this work! You edited to the spiritual essence! How do you do it? I'm in awe...
From complete novels to 21 words! Kudos!

I think I talk too much to be able to do anything with a twenty-one word prompt. But you accomplished an entire story with great imagery, especially in the final sentence, "Angels sang at Heaven's door." Best wishes in the contest.

Excellent! God wins, every time! A great image, and a great retelling of a historical event from the Bible in only twenty-one words! (Even my review is longer.) Best wishes for your entry.

You've portrayed this dramatic Biblical incident very well - no mean feat with so few words available. God is very good at coming to the rescue by empowering others to act out his will.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read this simple post. It's difficult to make it meaningful, but I am pleased for your review.

Excellent poem fulfilling all the prerequisites, within the Spiritual theme. The picture of Moses opening up the red sea complements the poem. Good luck.
