I apologize in advance for my quick and meaningless reviews over the next few days. I'm out of stars and just trying to keep up, close as I can, so that I don't miss out on reviewing some of my favorite writer's posts. Thanks for sharing.

I am getting slower by the second and every time I think I have a handle on being polite and telling everyone how much their efforts and words mean to me (truly mean to me) I discover I have just fallen further behind. I appreciate that people actually enjoy what spills from my aging brain and couldn't find more happiness than sharing my writing. I thank you for your time and thoughts.
Sending a basket of smiles and hugs and apologies... especially to those I've left waiting for days.
HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND!
May cupid sprinkle you with much joy!
Always, Carol

How hard and awkward to have to use those six words in such a short fiction piece! I guess it is fiction that corona-virus scorches all evil - if only it would or could. Imaginative writing. Best wishes for the contest.

You are so right, Wendy. I got reprimanded for adding an s to a word in one of the contests so I think I will probably stay away from them for a while. Thanks for the review.

Great job with the writing prompt. You find the most beautiful photographs to add to your postings. This picture is no exception. This is a great entry for the contest. I wishyou all the luck in the world.

Thank you so much. I believe that a picture says so much about the written words and I hope that it adds to the stories quality. Thank you so much.

I like your writing. I'm not a fan of a forty-two-word writing prompt that allows you only 36 of your own words! Seems obsessive-compulsive with the rules already! You manage to elevate it. I don't think I could.

Hey! How you doing, my friend? I hope you are getting perky and smiley faced and thank you for reading the contest. Yes, the rules are so picky. I got disqualified in one for an s. lol I needed to force myself to write so the quickies made my mind work. Not my style either.

Disqualified? Really? I figured they would warn you or something! Geesh! An "s' ???? I guess I'll never enter a contest. Not with my litany of typos!
(Which is my unique brand of "creative writing btw!)
I am MISS AUTO-IN CORRECT!
Laughing here...

I suppose that's on way of ascending to Heaven. This was very clever Carol, a sort of 11th hour mass confession saving a whole nation, with the king leading the way, how appropriate! A brilliant post Carol, well done, you are a genius, well done, blessings Roy

These quick clip shorties with so many restrictions are really cramping my style while I try to figure out how to cram a whole story in a mouthful of words. LOL
Thanks so much, Roy.

The first sentence really struck me that the virus would be "destroying all evil." Although all humanity is sinful, we wouldn't view all those who perished as evil. So I wish for some clarification of that in this short fiction. But I like the ending that Jesus welcomed His flock.

No, my words were so limited, but I was trying to say that those who believe were saved and those who turned their backs on God were evil and like a plaque, some were sick and others died because they turned from the light. And of course, Jesus waited with open arms.

I wish that virus would concentrate on the evil and leave the good alone. You did a great job of making a story in 42 word and using the words required.

It's so difficult to cram a whole story into a mouthful of words, but I gave it an attempt and hoped people understood. It's so not my style. Thanks for the kind review.

I am not sure that somewhere it just might be hiding, waiting to spring forward and send us spiraling down the hill again. I hope not, but it's possible. Thanks for the review and kind thoughts, Iza.

A nice story told in so few words, Carol, and one that we should all take seriously. I think you have a good chance with this, my friend, and the picture really does set your words off. Well done and good luck. More love coming your way. :) Sandra xxx

I have been sitting at this computer all morning trying to get close to being caught up on reading and reviews, but I don't see even a glimmer of an end. thank you for reading and commenting on a story crammed into a mouthful of words. LOL

Jusr don't worry about it, Carol. You are doing fine. As for reviewing, sometimes I've had 300 in my message box. People understand when you can't read and review them all! When I see all my fans, a few hundred, and I only get 25 - 35 reviews, what happened to all the rest? We do what we can and that doesn't just apply to you. I make sure I read the books I'm following, and the poetry when I can. Some poets post two a day every day. It's impossible to read them all. Now, just concentrate on your writing. I think you are one very talented lady. xxxx
-
I read every post sent to me for reviewing, I read every review when it arrives and every reply...but answering them all is a handful when I always have so much to say. LOL
-
That is exactly that, and I think so many of us are the same. xx

And then when the words seem to flow, I want to write, write, write before the girls and everything else sucks me back in again.
