Good job. Well done.
I didn't count syllables, but I didn't get hung up, or fall down while reading, so it must be fine. Your imagery works well, painting a video that made me think of a couple of stooges.
I especially liked the ending.
Best wishes.

Thanks, Wayne. The ending is what hurts the most.

Author,
Your humorous poem deserves the Fanstory accolades that you've received!
It's exaggeration is funny and creative.
I like the rhythm here--the sound of your poem too.
Good luck in the contest.
Blessings,
Cindy

Thanks, Cindy. I think I will have to send this poem to the chiropractor to fix that twist at the end.

Loved your poem, it made me chuckle. You did a great job of describing the positions that the man endured. I almost felt like I was there with him as he struggled. We need more humor in our lives and you are a master at it.

Thanks, Cecilia. It's hard to come up humor with what's going on in the world.

So true. Glad you achieved it.

Wow! That was a great poem. This poem reads like a song. This poem most certainly made me laugh. I can't imagine a chiropractor putting someone's leg behind their ear. LOL. Nice job with this one.

Brilliant comedy poem, Paul. Such an enjoyable read. I was actually told by my doctor on one occasion that a pain I was getting in my hip was due to sitting on a thick wallet. Some times problems have very simple solutions. Thanks for sharing this amusing piece.

Thanks, PK. You probably had to pay at least fifty bucks for that simple piece of advice.

Thanks for the review. I was laughing most of the time when I was writing the poem.

Paul,
This is a terrific read, funny from start to finish. Your closing was a wonderful surprise and really made me smile. It seems everyone wants to make our wallets thinner, but at least the chiropractor had some quasi-legit reason.

Paul,
This is a witty poem about relieving pain. I have never heard of a chiropractor putting a leg behind someone's head. It's probably because he found him on the internet.
This seams to be secretly about being greedy because of the size of his wallet and the size of the doctor's bill.
Keep writing and stay healthy

love this poem, the snarky humor, the back and forth, the description of the operation and the writers open skepticism about the procedure that finally worked. I like that final twist at the end.
