I think most folk would say, half your luck, the truth of the matter is it can be dangerous, I guess that's why most folk don't want it advertised, there have been kidnappings. Beautifully written, an excellent post, blessings Roy

Thanks . I've read that a number of people who have won went off the deep end because of it. Most ended up broke, some lost family members and went through divorce and had drug or alcohol problems. All that glitters is not gold.

I?ve read the same thing.

Honestly, I don't know what I would do if I won that much money. That's a great short story. Thanks for choosing to share it here. Best wishes to you.

I never waste my money on the lottery. The odds against you winning are incredible. The money spent would be much better off put into a savings account or buying a mutual fund.

If only, but then again winning a lot of money is a huge responsibility that I would never want! You made me smile here and this is a fine write for the prompt, love Dolly x

Thanks for reviewing. You're right, the responsibility would be overwhelming. People and organizations would come out of the woodwork trying to partake in your winnings. It would be miserable.

Winning the lottery is a dream come true. I know one thing you would have a lot more friends if you won! They probably would not leave you alone. It is fiction story, but we can always dream.

Thanks for the review. I never play the lottery. The odds are too much against you, and as you mention, you'd have more unwanted friends than you could handle. I've read that many who won ended up wishing they hadn't.
