This is a great one. And there are many people who would have the same reaction. And I like the picture of the cats. I am not a cat person, however, this is nice. Thank you for your post. It gave me a laugh, and I felt the same. My deceased husband and I had discussions about this scenario.

to remarry would be a lot of "retraining" work for either, who has the patience. If she haunts him anyways, they still get to see each other. Excellent, thank you for sharing.

If I would have not looked at the image, I would have thought you were referring to a man and a woman. Being they are cats, and talking cats, did you bring them to life when you wrote this story? Some cats are cremated with their owner.
