Thank goodness for Grandmothers, they bring a balance to children's lives and I remember mine vividly, she was a hard worker and brought up two children single handedly when her husband died, much enjoyed, love Dolly x

Oh so true! With grandfathers too, that expression of love is with equal pleasure.

You have hit the nail on the head with this one. I felt it growing up with my grandmother, but I really got a good look at this love when my wife was around our grandchildren.
