Hi Kace, you don't see men like this anymore...
men so dedicated to their jobs...work they are
proud of...he sounds like he was a great man...

problem here is...they let the murderers out...
without bail...only to murder again...but that's
about to stop...

your story was very well told my sweet friend...
picture perfect...so very well written sweetie pie...
love much...Linda xxoo

Kay, This is a very good and very well written poem about Aboriginal Elder, Alec Riley. You used great descriptive words about what he did and why he was so loved. You used great imagery from your words and the picture you used. Best wishes in the contest! love and blessings, Teri

An excellent poem and I am glad you chose to honour him, and to share some of his excellent and skilful work. Also to make a part of our history known. You are very good at the Looped Poem format. Sending good wishes for your entry.

G'Day mate! Thanks for reading possum. I think he deserved recognition; grandson has just made a film about him, called Tracker - saw it on TV. Love, Kay xx

Hi, Kay -
very interesting account. Good for him and good for his grandson, making a movie about his uncle.
I have always thought trackers were fascinating - their instincts and knowledge of signs that they can identify.
Neat piece!
Hope you are doing all right. Are you painting?
I and many like me, stay so depressed and angry over our senile, manipulated President and his incompetent administration absolutely ruining this country. It is heartbreaking.

Well, Biden is too old and senile, he's in hot water over the same thing Trump did. For goodness sakes, what a crazy voting system. Glad you liked my poem. Too many rules in an outdated system.

This is a great poem that gives historical detail on what took place in the outback of Australia by a figure that many people today would not have heard about. An insight into the rough life back then. The hero - a black tracker made sergeant - recognition well deserved. I look forward to watching the movie when it comes out. I love true story cinema. Thank you for sharing this riveting read.

Fascinating, Aussie!
Was mesmerized by the story you share.
Excellent loop poem; love that form, and yours is creative and not forced.

Best wishes!
