I hope they give an adequate punishment to that senior officer. I know that sort of thing happens a lot. These parents are amazing, pouring their grief into ways to save others. Their pain had to be unbearable.

I agree. And yes, the Morcombes have become strong people despite their intense pain, and are empowering others, quite amazing. Thank you for a thoughtful and insightful review.

As a parent and grandparent this is a nightmare no carer wants to g through. I'm amazed that anyone can negotiate it and yet be concerned that other parents can be aware and protect their children against these predatory people. This is beautifully written Wendy, blessings Roy

This is an amazing story of Health. People can take a tragedy and make it into a tryout for others. We always need to protect our children and know that they are never safe until we are very cautious. I enjoyed the story very much. Patricia.

This is such a sad story Wendy and how terrible that this poor boy was abducted and murdered by a known paedophile and that it took so long for this predator to be identified. Our children are never safe anywhere and we always need to be vigilant Wendy, a poignant write, love Dolly x

The parents have shown commendable courage in the face of their personal tragedy in their development in education regarding and safe guarding other families in regard to such predators. If it doesn't feel right, get out of their. Call a parent. Call a friend's parent if you can't get a hold of one of your own. If in a store, go find a manager. Don't isolate. They get it now. They'll come home and tell me "I just felt something was off." I know it won't save them from everything, but it's a good basis. Thank you for posting this. Good on those parents for helping through this tragedy. Gretchen
