I like this, Rachelle, particularly in its dream-like sequence. Your verse is fun, simply expressed and with a rhyming pattern which doesn't quite match at the beginning but who cares:) It just gives the reader a sense of having enjoyed the ride. Ideally I'd prefer the fourth stanza last line tightened up a little maybe by losing the 'our'? But the sentiments are magical and reveal a very winning sense of humour and lightheartedness. Great job and good luck! Enjoy your Sunday! Debbie x

Thanks for the very helpful feedback...and, of course, your encouragement and enthusiasm, as well. I agree about that last line. Now I just have to get the technical aspect to cooperate. I go in there, and, I swear, I can see no text unless I highlight...and then, I can't delete. I never had such issues before! Thankfully, though, I am in nothing in this world if not tenacious!

Yes, opposites do attract. My husband and I started out as opposites in so many ways, and yet we fit together so perfectly, and now we've found a common middle ground, that allows for our differences and our similarities.
It sounds as though your and your husband's differences have made you two a perfect match. I guess love does conquer all.
