I was brought up with the idea the guy should make the first move but I think you profile sounds great and any guy would be lucky to meet you so in that case I think I'd forget the proper way I was brought and write something to the guys who sound interesting and try to get my money's worth. I think guys are more shy about writing to someone they don't know they than they are in public Nice rant.

This was funny. I wondered how much of it might be true as a personal dive into online dating. I wrote a piece about this in my journal to the Ukraine about 2+ years ago. It is in my portfolio under, Ukraine. You might find it amusing. Funny stuff.

Many moons ago I worked for a dating site "Compatibility Unlimited" 1986 no computers, we interviewed the applicants in person and matched them up. And it worked too. Compared to other dating sites, we were inexpensive. Good story. You have been had. Karen

Well, I'm glad you accept yourself! That's the most important thing. People who love and accept themselves because they know they are loved by God are at peace and able to connect "normally" with others! Sorry you are out of so much money!
