Sometimes that is all we have - hope and the power of prayers. And God knows we need them these days! Thank you for sharing your inspirational words.

So true. So devastating what is happening. God Bless the innocent children! Peace please! We've done war.

That's so pretty and so poignant a message as well. Tough to do with so little space to do it when you have managed beautifully! It's a lovely poem more than worthy of submission. I'm glad you have shared it with all of us. Thank you so much. Have a great night!

"Prayer is the World's greatest wireless connection." I agree with your sentiments and do light a candle in the dark. Jesus said, "I am the Light of the World." We are the impatient humans wanting Him to intervene and stop the wars. He gave us free choice, some movers and shakers will join hands and put a stop to the carnage. Well done, best wishes in the writing prompt. K xx

This is a wonderful and powerful piece that encourages the reader to have faith and believe. Sometimes hope is all we have and it can be the strongest power to motivate.

Yes, this is short and beautiful, from photo to lyrics.
It sickens all of us to watch this happen to the innocent people of those countries.
We can only share our feelings in these beautiful phrases and poems as helplessness builds in our hearts and minds. Best, JohnC

Hope and prayer likely the only chance, as our world seems to be coming apart at the seams. Regard for human lives at an all time low, even on the streets. Thanks for sharing.

Ah, such a lovely little poem that evokes peace and hope. All three lines rhyme perfectly and the message is profound... "that hope will light the way". Loved this. What is hope but light in darkness?

An excellent submission for the contest. It fits the criteria and I don't see any grammar or punctuation issues. I think it is a common topic right now and may be a bit redundant in that aspect, but other wise a good entry.

A sweet little poem that says a great deal that is important to us, in a mere twelve syllables. Good light and dark imagery and a lovely picture. Well done and good luck with this.
