I was halfwat=y through the story when I realized it was a b=it off. Then, at last, I saw that it was fiction. It was fiction, right? I need to get a Calvin doll and do this -- somehow.

I was inspired by a glimpse of the movie "Magic" with Anthony Hopkins. It is creepy. The are getting better and better with animated robots.

I've come to know your wry wit and tried my best to thunk ahead...

I've got to admit you topped every possible twist I was preparing myself for!

I'd have given you a six for that final line! (Of course I'm out!)

You killed this!

(Pun intended)

LOL,

Karenina

I am bent, I admit it. I have a wicked black sense of humor sometimes. I am cooking up something really wicked. :-) Karen

I thought this was going to be a light humor tale, but now I see the theme is very grave! I'm surprised at you! Such language! What does a female dog have to do with this tale? Well, I guess you KNOCKED this one out of the ballpark!

Don't mess with the elderly. That should have been your subtitle. Lol. My favorite line was "the son of a bitch died on me." I admit, I laughed out loud on that. Very light hearted tale of revenge and more. Great job. Gretchen

I've heard of saving the best for last, but on FanStory? The earlier in the week the better, because if we read a lot of people there never enough sixes to go around. But I certainly would have like to have had one for this. Thanks for sharing.

Once I started writing I had to keep at it. And once I am done editing I rarely have the patience to wait. I will wait until Sunday to promote it. I will be reviewing my little heart out. Karen

It is for the "There's a knock at the door" contest. I had to try it. It sounds so sinister. :-) Karen

You are kidding right? "We all thought he fainted. He cheated me again. I had won the prank of the best joke, hands down, and the son of a bitch died on me." That was so funny, thank you for sharing and good luck with your writings and the contest.

This is a hysterical story. I must have missed reading it among the contenders of the contest because I don't think I'd forget it. You definitely had the best prank.

This wasn't for the prank story, this was for "There is a knock on the door" story. Every story has to start with that sentence. I wanted to write something sinister and dark, but out came comedy! Karen

Ha! What a clever and funny twist in the tail! I'm guessing there were no other little brats bothering Mrs Sullivan ever again. I wonder whether the police got involved? I'm guessing Calvin's parents were none too pleased ... :) Thanks for the share and good luck for the contest.

Honeybunch, Calvin was an old man. No one saw the head move but Calvin and her. No one there knew why he "fainted". No police were needed.
