Hello Kahpot, I'm sorry that your friend is going through this. Early detection is key. Your acrostic is heartfelt and I could feel the darkness as stated within. Of special note:
Remedies fail 'pon doctors note
Knowledge engulfs a silent room
Negating smiles applied too soon
(I've had Stage 3b cancer myself. I know this feeling. I could see the scene.)

This is full of super poetic language Kimbob, the language is quite sublime,ani love the theme, of being seduced into darkness, which indeed we all are, this is a great acrostic that leads into some form of rhyme, well one, blessings Roy

I don't fully understand the poem but the acrostic is well done. Is the darkness a bad medical report? What remedies did you try that failed? I don't know the details but in your notes you mention free prostate tests. Did you get it done? Or did a friend not get it done?

Sorry for the confusion, I just let loose on this one, a friend passed from prostate cancer, and I am angry that he did not take advantage of the free tests available, we have had this option for many years now, as always very much appreciated****kahpot

Oh, I wish they had such tests here. My brother is 58 and he was found to have prostate cancer just two years ago. If he had been tested before it wouldn't have gotten in his bones. So this is something close to me. Thanks for sharing. And I'm very sorry to hear about your friend.

Here they send us (to our homes) a free test kit, although a bit embarrassing, we just have to complete it and send it back, (postage paid) if people would just do it it will save many
