I appreciate the humorous tone of the poem and the way it conveys everyday frustrations in a relatable way. The rhyme scheme is clever and the poem flows well. Overall, it's a light-hearted and enjoyable piece that many people can relate to. Great job.

What you need is to get a cleaning lady, like the one I have. Then I make sure everything is off the floor and there is no dirty laundry or junk hanging around, so it'll be clean before she gets here!

Haha Well said. You created a good poem with nice rhymes and good flow.
I totally agree with the sentiments, too. In my house some of it doesn't even make it near the basket, laying as it was thrown - on the bedroom floor. Arrrrgh!

This is a perfect and relatable poetic rant. I think most people could understand this as we all miss the hamper sometimes. You use good words and rhyming plus vivid imagery to get your point across and it's a very strong rant for the challenge.

Best wishes,

Alex

Although cute, this is a legitimate rant. My kids through their clothes.....pretty much everywhere.

And they have hampers in their rooms. Many times Mrs I go in, stepping over piles of dirty clothes to get to the hamper that I find is ...empty!!!! Arrrgh.

The pain is real-LOL! Thanks so much! (I finally got my grandson to do his own laundry so now he digs through the hamper looking for his things & leaves all the rest on the floor--small victories.)

This poetic rant is really excellent. Hilarious. Love it. It draws the reader easily into the world of empty hampers. It's the one which is so relatable because it is unfortunately replicated elsewhere.

Laundry can be one of the biggest chores in the house, I know my daughter struggles with how high the mountain is. I just put my laundry straight into the washing machine! Ha ha ha, you made me smile with this post, great rhymes, love Dolly x
