I was thinking Soylent Green as I was reading your story and then you said you based it upon that show. Old people get the worse of it even in stories...lol...good luck in the contest!

This was an enjoyable read. You do a wonderful job of weaving together themes of scientific ethics and the pursuit of progress. The characters, particularly Hattie Mulhouse and Dr. Magnus, are wonderful portrayed. The dialogue is sharp and engaging which is perfect for the tension found in the ethical debates.

Excellent and creative entry. No SPAG errors that I noticed. I love stories with a dark twist. I agree with you that there ought to be a "disturbing content" warning available. Many of my stories include no overt sex, violence, or profanity, yet I would not want children to read them because of the disturbing themes. Anyway, great story and good luck in the contest.
