In my gosh, this is duch a cute one sided conversation.
I didn't get it at first but then I started to wonder... especially when her daughter came into the picture.
You definitely did an excellent job. Good luck in this fun contest.

This is an awesome entry for the Half a Dialogue writing prompt. I love this dialogue, which sounds completely natural and authentic and has a wonderful twist ending to surprise the reader. The end is a twist but it is believeable because grandmothers today have got game! good luck.

Haha! Great fun! You've definitely been creative here. I like the clever way you lure the reader into thinking this is a conversation with another girl, only to gradually twig that this isn't on an equal footing at all. Excellent. Good luck! Debbie

This is hilarious. I am always amazed at where writers go with a prompt. This is a unique and very funny half-dialog, with a nice twist at the end. You pull the reader in with teenage chatter, then deliver your punch. Well done!

The next clue was, "Here's hoping I have half your game fifty years from now." Finally, I wondered about the person on the other end of the line with the comment, "Your daughter has called me twice." The way you wrote this, I thought some young girls were talking, but to find out that a young girl was speaking with her grandmother, was quite the twist. I have to hand it to you though, you did provide some hints with the grandmother not knowing what GPS and selfies were. Nice job.
