The world can seem a very lonely place when you're away from home, especially when the culture is so different. And what you create here is a vivid picture of a noisy, chaotic foreign bar in which anything could happen and does. But with all the best instincts in the world, you have to remain silent because of the volatility of the situation which has cast you out of your depths. I found no errors in your piece and felt that you conveyed the claustrophobic atmosphere of the place well. Good luck! Debbie

Your story brought me to the chaos of a karaoke bar so well. The use of the Chinese classic "Fairy Tales" by Michael Wong adds to story. I like how Auntie Jane offered silent support and guidance. This, the story, seems vaguely repetitious from the stories told by sailors in Olongapo City, in the Phillipines.
As for this sentence, It was Priya, the wife of Raj, who was sitting at the bar with some young Indian girl on his lap, it is confusing. I think Raj had the lapped girl but it reads as if Priya did to me.
