Powerful story. I am still wondering what happened that Huck believes he is responsible for Dewey's present condition. Well written. The situation with Miss Lynn is left hanging.

That was so sweet and sad. Children can be unbelievably cruel. I was at a welcome picnic for the missionary aviation program my ex was involved in. I caught a bunch of the children in a ring around a toddler with Down's. Throwing stones at him. Just little kids, Christian parents in a program to be missionaries. I love Dewey. And Huck for caring for his brother.
