Pamusart, this is a vital piece of writing! Deserves my last six! Just incredible, such a needed warning, there are "gorilla pimps" out
there! They kidnap, drug and beat, and put out on the street, many a runaway!
Hey, I changed vill to ville, it's more easily recognized as a word.

Thank you for your wonderful comments and a great review
And especially for the six shiny stars. It made my day.

It does speak for itself and I personally feel very strongly about this topic. I once listened to a lady speak about her organization that helped victims of human trafficking. The psychological problems were the hardest to work through. It's sickening what humans do to other humans

I know I sent you my review for private messaging, but the problem has been fixed so I'm clearing my queue

Jeez! Yep, it speaks for itself. You say it is fiction, and I get that (for this poem), but the situation you describe is all too real, unfortunately.
Well constructed. Good rhyming and choice of words. A great piece of emotive writing.
(One tiny comment; I would have said "turning" tricks, instead of "doing" tricks.)

Hi Steve. Thank you for your wonderful comments and review. I did make that change you suggested.: turning tricks. So I thank you for that as well.

Of course it speaks for itself. Twelve year old kids are snatched and this is the result. What a sick world we live in. Pedophiles are on the rise as well. We can't stop these happenings, only keep our kids close to us and educate them. K xx

It might be fiction but for many it is a bitter reality, which you have captured well. The hopelessness and despair that accompany both addiction and being a victim of trafficking are well described. Excellent poem, thought-provoking and very sad and moving.

Glad your note mentions that this is fiction but I know the Two problems are real addiction and a type of slavery in prostitution

Another of your themes, Pam, in which you take on a very tragic social issue and commit it to your well-crafted rhyming verse! This particular trade is absolutely horrifying and girls are indeed caught in a web of drug addiction and abuse in which all personal agency is lost. Well done for reiterating the tragedy of it here! Debbie

This was so so upsetting it gave me goosebumps thinking of those poor unfortunate souls who have been kidnapped to the despicable and devastating trade. You have written the story very well with great use of rhyme to convey the it. Well done

I am so glad it is fiction, but for so many it the reality of a cruel life. They are slaves to their handlers and when they are used up the are discarded as a piece of garbage. It's a poem well written. Ulla xcx
