It's nice to have two perspectives on this story. As I told Rachelle, the "rollers" are my favorite part of the story - two city girls in Amish country is making for a fun read.

See you next week for more.

Thank you, Pam. It's so fun to write this. Not taking ourselves too seriously. Thank you again. Gretchen

This is so amusing. I'm not too sure about the corncobs. Sears catalogs were harsh enough when I was a kid. Rachelle in an Amish dress seems nearly as weird with her ballerina's body.

Hahsha.... I love the humor, poor Rachelle, she is going to be the butt of jokes, no pund intended. LoL

I'm loving the story and the creative way you are writing it. You are both top notch writers/story tellers.

Well done!

A fun chapter. Great fun about those curlers! Now, my question is - how will Rachelle cope with pork for dinner? Well done. I am very much enjoying your fun escapades.

I like the fact that you've added the boys to your narrative, I suspect Rachelle is very nuch a city girl, used to the comforts that a shallow city life can dish up, great episode, I think the females on-site would love this association, well done, blessings Roy
Typo : People haven see(n)... 2: leaving Rachelle and (I) around. Me?

It is good to read your side of this story Gretchen as Rachelle is in the dark about the used of those corn husks! Your secret is best kept under wraps for a while as Rachelle is going to be horrified when we finds out. Rural life is very different to city life and I am not sure I would cope without my curling tongues! Ha ha ha, a fun post the two of you have invented and I was thoroughly entertained, love Dolly x

I really wish I could have had a picture of that! I really really do, I wrote a contact mail. There is a problem. I love your and Rachels stories, they fit together so well. Karen

This is so amusing I can imagine how it much look to the Amish to see their toilet paper in Rachelle's hair. I really can't imagine Rachelle going barefoot and giving but her fancy costume so easily for Amish attire. I'll check and see what she has to say.

This so funny! I bet you and Rachelle are having a ball writing it and comparing versions.
I didn't realise you two were so different. New York and Outer Banks - definitely not similar, however, so what did I expect?
Anyway, this is a fun story and the two versions is a wonderful, and to me, an original idea. I asked Rachelle if yall were going to submit it to a publisher, but she didn't respond to that. I think you should. It is unique!
Good job.
Katharine

HAHAHAHAHAHAH. You are the funniest co-conspirator I will ever know. This is a priceless addition to our novel and progresses the backstory of Helene just enough to pique our readers' curiosity. VERY well done. I think you're fabulous. xoxo

Thank you. You're not so bad your self. I left the conversation between you and Rebekah open so you wouldn't have to change anything. I love the comment from you about faceplanting in the mud with your dress over your head. All I could think about was that Fly On the Wall post you wrote about taking the bagels to your daughter's swim practice. Go ahead and post your part. Can't wait to read it. Gretchen
