Poor Naomi, I thought Eleanor or Danni might have saved her, but no, perhaps they still might, her fear was well founded, why didn't she have some method of defence, knowing she was probably a target. Beautifully written, the fear of Naomi was palpable, well done, blessings Roy

Eleanor and Danni were tied up with Hilda and Naomi didn't realize how much trouble she was in until she started searching Arthur's room. A day late and a dollar short as they say. Hopefully someone can come to her rescue before it's too late.

I went back to make sure I hadn't missed any chapters.
" She laughed, "Sorry, I guess I watch too many mystery movies." (laughed.)
As the taxi pulled from the curb, she remained unaware of the black sedan parked just a few feet away. The man from the memorial slipped inside, the car's engine purring to life as it fell in behind the taxi, following Naomi into the night. (you're in Naomi's POV you said she doesn't know this, so we shouldn't either.)

You might be surprised about who is coming, and the person definitely doesn't want to come head to head with Jose. It's starting to ramp up now so I think the tension is building. And when the tension gets high... reinforcements might need to be called in. LOL

I hope the door they heard opening and the footsteps are coming Naom's way, she can't die!! Jose needs a knife stuck through his neck! This is all going wrong, she has to fight this and live. Another amazing chapter, Carol! I'm going to start writing again. Bk 2 in The Descendant series. Reading your books has me fired up again, but I won't be writing as fast as you! Awesome, Sandra! I loved the first one so I am sitting on pins and needles waiting for another. Your style of writing outshine me. I am thriled that you enjoyed this one though. I had to bring a bit of the evilness into the picture. The footsteps ar coming to her rescue, but I can't promise it will all be okay.... thank you as always for your encouragement and support.
