Karen, if I had a six star, you would have it for this sweet story. It was very imaginative, I found the font and the color of it cheerful, the picture adorable and Allison to be completely charming. I loved her innocence and yet she seemed to have more on the ball than what she was given credit for. The only thing I did not like about it was that there was a dentist involved. Just kidding but I hate going to the dentist. LOL.. Anyway, it was fun to listen to as I tried to follow along with my one good eye. You did a great job on this. And I found it to be a very clever read, my friend. Love, Debi

I hate that you are having more troubles. Can you use an audio program to help you? Thanks for the read and I am praying for you. Karen

Yes, I listened to it and followed along a little but the longer ones are hard. Now they are planning a corneal stem cell transplant on me. It was from a complication of covid but I see the eye specialist every day during the week, but it completely blinded me but only one eye, but they are watching the other eye big time. And I know you know enough about the lupus so yes it most likely made it worse. However, so thankful to still see with one eye. Thanks for asking, hon!
It is good to be in touch again.

I hope this works. My back looks like a texas road map that didn't get folded right. And ten years ago. I woke up and had gained 30 pounds of fat and bloating around my middle and my boobs are from 115 to 145 enormous. Golden years? I was waqlking to the kitchen the other day and I kept hearing this strange sound like something scratching bone. It was me. Ain't life a hoot? And, I lost two inches. That last back operation where they took out my disc's. I was 5'5" now, I'm 5'3". Was a size 6 now a 16. Yep, we are living the high life. One good thing, I get to wear cartoon pajamas all day long.! :-) Karen

We are quite the pair. I have had two major spline surgeries too and I used to be 5'7" and now I am 5'4" and then what the lupus didn't kill, especially with almost on dialysis with kidneys, menopause did. Like you said, big boobs, and I never had a belly until then. So I know what you mean. I am not actually heavy but feel so out of proportion. I was just complaining to Sally how folding laundry was so hard on the back. But thankfully we are both still here. I hate complaining but you are right that age is a factor. I am turning 70 this year.

I just turned sixty nine. At times Age doesn't exist. And it comes as a shock when I see a mirror. We are strong And we do not go quietly into that good night. I love you sweetie and we will keep fighting for our health yes? Have a good week. Karen

Hey, good to know that we are so close in age. One more thing in common, with most importantly trying to get through life without too many more complications, and try hard not to dwell on the ones that are out there. I love it!!
    Take care, dear FRIEND!!

I love this site because there are some people that are pretty much like me. I don't have to explain myself. When is your birthday? Do you read audible books? My sister wants to keep giving me a kindle. But I love paperbacks. I pray you get all fixed up. Love you, Karen

I have been doing audible for years and now I use a special audible for my reading on the iPad and computer. I am only allowed so much screen time so I use it when I can. Thanks for all your kind words, hon. And right back atcha! Love and hugs. Debi

you are a woman of details and descriptions. Very cute story. I liked the character of Allison. You should attempt a murder mystery series alphabetically.

" No honey he had one hit, and he never felt anything else." ( "No honey, he)

Is he in heaven now, do you think? She asked. (think?" she asked.)

Good gravy you worked hard on this. I am trying to get the quote tags screwed into my brain. I agree on everything except the stool. I wanted her to sit down on the stool as opposed to a chair, milk crate, or a pile of books. Otherwise I bless you from the bottom of my heart for the hard word you do on my behalf. I go io edit. You can say 'sit on a stool', that would imply down. It's up to you.

Thanks for the editing again. I did the changes. Karen

I like the stool bit left in. But I did everything else. Thanks again. Karen

I recognized some of the name-homages. This was an unusual entry-a murder mystery without a murder. I never suspected Allison of anything untoward, nd I'm glad to see she came out well in the end.

Well folks have been nagging me to get back to writing my short stories. They want bodies. Ha! I gave them a body. but it wasn't murder, and I was nowhere near at the time. Thanks for the read. I am cooking up a good one. Karen

Leave it to you to reinvent the murder mystery.

Allison was the key to solving the murder because she had it all storie in her head. The sheriff just had to asked the right questions. THis was story of a simple little girl helping solve a mystery. Nicely written.

Yes, I was no where near where he died. I have proof. People kept wanting me to quit doing so much poetry, and go kill someone. Well , someone died, but there was no murder! Haha Have a good week. Karen

This was a very interesting and entertaining story! I enjoyed reading it very much. This reminds me that I need to make an appointment with the dentist. LOL. Thank you for sharing, and best wishes to you.

What? Am I to believe that George's demise was of his own clumsy makings and you had nothing to do with it whatsoever? Hmmm... well, I won't be too hard on you, because going to the dentist is the worst... chihlls and shivers for sure.

I have spent enough through the years to buy a couple really nice cars. I am going to get dentures, and that's that. Nothing works for very long in my mouth. Thank you for the read. This was fun. Ans I have witnesses I was not involved. :-) Karen
