As the plot thickens, the words and the story flow, makes you want to read more. Very good work, you should be proud of your writing, really enjoyed the reading, thanks for sharing, wouldn't change a thing. Cheers, Kev.

Good chapter! The reader could sense the tension between Garth and Donatelli. I'm glad they made their peace and will work together to honor Allie by trying to solve this case. You filled in some backstory for us in the dialogue about Allie's passing. Well done!

Thank you, Carol. this was an important chapter for me because I know how many of the readers are attached to the characters. I wanted to make sure that their tension, their grief, and their ability to understand each other came across correctly. I am thrilled you found the story what you had hoped for. Thank you so much for the thoughts, kindness, and support.

Not only did it come across well, the conversation set a good example for handling being at odds without blowing things out of proportion. Good chapter!

I am so glad Garth and Michael have resolved their differences and are willing to work together.

Garth studied him for a long moment before responding. "You don't know (respsonding,)

He took a sip of his beer before answering. "Ever heard of Frank Divito?" (answering,) There's more than need a comma, I stopped editing here.

Matthew leaned against the fence. "it's difficult to admit, (It's - couldn't help myself, but still more commas needed before dialogue)

Forgive me...I am tossing grammerly to the curb! I shall head back and read it once again and than ask for a refund. Wonder if Prowriting woul work better.... Or should I send my monthly fee directly to you.

I don't think any of them work really well. I just use my grammar check on Word, and it still misses a lot.

If I could give you every six I have, I would! This was a terrific chapter, it was perfect! I loved how this went, that Garth and Matthew are 'buddies' now, is brilliant. And talking aloud and mentioning what they knew has suddenly put the puzzle together, but they still have a way to go. I am so happy with this chapter, Carol, I'm happy they are friends, and I'm much happier they could talk about Allie together, no matter how painful it was to them both. Things will start moving faster now, and I know that Matthew is pleased that Naomi is safe. This was one of your best chapters, my friend, I loved every line. Well done. Love and hugs my dear friend. xxx Sandra

HURRAH! I was praying you would feel the same way I did while I wrote it. I wanted these two hard-nosed lawmen to show their emotions concerning Allie, come to terms with it, and know that she would want them to get out there together and solve the cases.

And your kindness and blessings warm me all the way down to my toes. I almost thought I was going to cry (dumb old me) when I saw your review. I am so blessed.

Thank you again and again. I am thrilled you enjoyed it as much as I did. Now off to see what Jose and Alejandro are up too.
Smiles and hugs and all my love, Carol
